Course Content

The ITIL® Foundations course educates contains the following:
-    Overview, history and objectives of ITSM practices according to ITIL®
-    ITIL® building blocks
-    Process overview
-    Configuration Management Database and Service Desk
-    Incident- and Problem Management
-    Change Management
-    Release- and Service Level Management
-    Capacity-, Availability, Continuity Management
-    Financial Management
-    Security Management

Each module has at the end an overview of the content, recaps between the modules ensure the audience gained understanding of the content and gives first possibilities for questions and answers.

Along the course the participant has the slides in printed format and can make notes.

Mock Exam

On the Day 3, all participants (independent if subscribed for the EXIN EXAM or not) will receive the MOCK Exam and have the opportunity to test their knowledge.

EXIN Exam Requirements

The module which leads to the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (based on ITIL®) provides a detailed description of the processes involved in the management of IT infrastructures. The module covers the essential elements of ITIL®. Candidates are made aware of the importance of IT Service Management and the systematic approach of ITIL®.
IT Service Management according to ITIL® adopts a process-based approach to the organization of IT. Candidates get an idea of the meaning of a service-oriented method of working and the coherence and relationships between the ITIL®-processes. Candidates will also learn the basic concepts involved in these processes.
